Zanzibar Arrival — Stone Town

Transfer to Stone Town. Check in to a boutique hotel in the historic quarter. Evening walk through the UNESCO World Heritage streets, dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the harbor.

Day2

Stone Town and Spice Farm

Morning: guided Stone Town walking tour — Arab Fort, House of Wonders, spice market, and the beautiful wooden carved doors. Afternoon: Zanzibar Spice Farm tour — cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, and cardamom growing in a working farm 45 minutes from Stone Town.

Transfer to Private Island

Boat transfer Private island check-in

Morning checkout from Stone Town. Transfer to the private island jetty and boat transfer to the island (20-60 minutes depending on the property). The private island experience begins immediately — house reef snorkeling, beach, and the particular quiet of limited occupancy.

Day4

Private Island — Full Day

Diving or snorkeling Beach and house reef

Full day on the private island. Guided snorkeling of the house reef — hawksbill turtles, reef fish, and coral formations directly accessible from the beach. Diving available for certified divers.

Day5

Private Island — Full Day

Beach and ocean Sundowner on the beach

Final full day on the island. Kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, or simply staying in the water. Sunset cocktails on the private beach.

Return to Zanzibar — Departure

What to Bring

Light, breathable clothing in modest styles for Stone Town where covering shoulders and knees is respectful in this predominantly Muslim community. Swimwear and reef-safe sunscreen for beach and water activities. Cash in USD or Tanzanian shillings is useful as card acceptance is limited outside hotels.

From $3,800 per person: 5 nights accommodation with breakfast, airport transfers, and any listed activities. Not included: international flights, Tanzania visa fees (~$50), travel insurance, lunches and dinners, and personal spending money.

Two options: a 90-minute domestic flight from Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) or Arusha, or a high-speed ferry from Dar es Salaam (90 minutes). We arrange transfers for both options as part of any combined mainland-Zanzibar package.

Zanzibar is generally safe for tourists. Standard travel precautions apply: keep valuables secure, avoid isolated beach areas after dark, and dress modestly in Stone Town where local customs and a predominantly Muslim community deserve respect. Resort beach areas are well-patrolled and considered low-risk.
